Philodendron Ecuadorian Canoe Leaf Plant

$49.09

Ecuadorian Canoe Leaf (Jerry Horne) is an impressive climbing philodendron known for its exceptionally long, narrow leaves that curve slightly, resembling a traditional Ecuadorian canoe. The foliage becomes increasingly dramatic as the plant matures, with leaves reaching up to three feet in length. This is one of the larger philodendron types, developing sturdy stems that can approach one inch in diameter when fully established.
When grown vertically on a coco pole or similar support, the plant responds with tighter internodes, often spacing at approximately two inches apart, resulting in a dense, full presentation with larger, more defined leaves. Its climbing habit encourages strong upward growth and enhanced foliage development.
Despite its substantial size, this variety performs very well indoors under bright, indirect light and consistent warmth. These plants are well-rooted, vigorous tropical climbers that establish quickly and deliver strong, reliable growth over time.
