Lg. Dwarf Pink Peacock Poinciana (caesalpinia pulcherrima)

$29.99

The national flower of Barbados, commonly known as the Peacock Flower or Dwarf Poinciana, is a vibrant ornamental shrub or small tree recognized for its vivid blooms and tropical character. In warm climates it remains evergreen and can reach 15 to 22 feet in height, forming an open, airy canopy.
In areas with occasional frost, it stays smaller and responds well to pruning, making it suitable for shaping or planting in multiples as a colorful hedge. The finely textured foliage provides a soft backdrop to the brilliant blossoms.
Clusters of fiery red flowers, often accented with orange and yellow tones, attract hummingbirds and bees throughout the blooming season. Well suited for full sun and well-draining soil in USDA Zones 8–11, Caesalpinia pulcherrima delivers long-lasting color and dependable performance in warm landscapes. USDA Zones 9b–11
