Lg. Brazilian Red-Cloak Plant (megaskepasma erythrochlamys)

$53.99

Brazilian Red-Cloak Plant (Megaskepasma erythrochlamys) is a bold tropical shrub highly valued in Zone 9–10 landscapes. Erect, bright red ginger-like panicles rise from the branch tips, surrounding clusters of showy pure white flowers that create vivid contrast and long-lasting display.
This open, full shrub can reach approximately 10 to 12 feet in height with a comparable spread at maturity, forming a substantial presence in the landscape. Large, glossy green leaves provide a lush backdrop that enhances the intensity of the red bracts.
Red-Cloak performs well in warm climates, particularly in areas with dappled sun or bright filtered light. Consistent moisture and good drainage support steady growth and strong flowering performance. With its striking color, generous size, and tropical character, Brazilian Red-Cloak is a standout addition to warm-climate gardens and feature plantings. In cooler regions, it adapts well to container growing and can be moved indoors when temperatures drop. USDA Zones 9b–11
