California Blues Plumbago Plant (plumbago auriculata)

$19.99

California Blues Plumbago (Plumbago auriculata) produces soft, bouquet-like clusters of light violet-blue flowers beginning in early summer and continuing through the warm season. The airy blooms brighten garden spaces and provide long-lasting seasonal color.
This energetic shrub features glossy green leaves approximately two inches in length, creating a clean contrast against the cool-toned flowers. When given a trellis or other support, it can climb and spread upward with flexible stems. Without vertical support, Plumbago naturally forms a large, rounded, gently weeping shrub. Its arching growth habit makes it well suited for borders, foundation plantings, or spacious containers in warm climates.
Thriving in bright light with well-draining soil and moderate watering, California Blues Plumbago is a dependable flowering shrub for extended seasonal color in tropical and subtropical landscapes. In cooler regions, it adapts well to container growing and can be moved indoors when temperatures drop. USDA Zones 9b–11
